Gyula Glaser has won 3 consecutive European titles during his competitive years under the tuition of Ronan Morgan, and qualified for the World Championships (CLRG) as well. Gyula had the opportunity to dance in some of the most prestigious venues in Hungary, such as the State Opera House and the Palace of Arts.
Since 2007 he has danced in shows such as Gaelforce Dance and Magic of the Dance, and danced in front of thousands of people across the globe. He performed at the “Cinema for Peace” Gala in Berlin in 2010 in front of stars such as Leonardo di Caprio and Liam Neeson.
In 2010 Gyula was choosen to be original cast member of Breandán de Gallai’s latest Irish dance play, Noctú, which premiered in Lisburn in 2010, and toured in Ireland in 2011. Noctú was featured in RTE’s latest television series „Dance off”, which aired during summer of 2011.
The show premiered in New York at the off-broadway Irish Repertory Theater during September 2011. This production was later nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards in New York. In 2015 he premiered in the leading role of „The Devil” in Magic of the Dance.
